Born with hereditary spherocytosis, a rare blood condition, Jaxson came to Children’s of Mississippi at age two for surgery to help manage the disease. During surgery, Jaxson experienced life-threatening complications. But over the next two weeks, his care team helped him fight back.
Now seven years old, Jaxson gets checkups twice a year and is doing well managing his disease. And, he is a huge fan of Ole Miss baseball!
