Meet A Miracle: Tristan Smith

Tristan

Three years ago, while his family was living in Jakarta, Indonesia, Tristan experienced severe back pain. In the ER there, doctors found an enormous tumor that turned out to be T-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. An emergency trip back to the U.S. brought Tristan to the pediatric cancer experts at Children’s of Mississippi’s Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders for treatment.

Now Tristan is in remission. His prognosis looks very promising, and he is well on his way to a bright future, enjoying all the wonderful things that were put on hold a few years.

Tristan loves people and never meets a stranger. But don’t ask him about green veggies: he dislikes them no matter how they’re cooked!
