Meet A Miracle: Jordyn Braxton

Caped like a superhero, Children’s of Mississippi patient Jordyn Braxton is shown with parents Jerry Braxton and Miesha Holloway-Braxton by the Kathy and Joe Sanderson Tower.

Jordyn is an independent, playful three-year-old Somehow, someway, he always makes everyone around him smile and instantly brightens their day. Jordyn was born with Tetralogy of Fallot, which is four combined heart defects that cause poor oxygen flow throughout his body. He spent five weeks at Children’s of Mississippi undergoing two open heart surgeries. He will need another heart surgery as he grows, but for now doctors make sure he is staying healthy during regular checkups. His family represents Jordyn at community events by always sporting “Team Jordyn” shirts. Be a part of Team Jordyn and support Children’s of Mississippi today!
